MISCONCEPTION ABOUT HOUSE PAINTING

Many people believe those who paint their house are rich people. I must tell you that it is not true because everybody that owns a house or rent an apartment has the capacity to afford the cost of painting it. However, good and beautiful things are not only meant for the rich but for everybody and this is why I need to make it clear to you that painting is meant for all.

There are different types of house paints namely, emulsion, gloss, texcoat, flexcoat, satin, matt, among others. All these paints come in different sizes and containers (plastic or tin). These paints are carefully used based on the user preference and capacity. So, the painter uses what the client(s) want and can afford in order to achieve a desired goal.

These paints come in different quality. There are low and high quality paints. The paints manufacturers consider the socio-strata in the range of products produced and that is why they make different quality that will also enable low-income earners to be beneficiary of beautiful and colourful home. However, the high quality is expensive to the low quality paints. Low quality paints are affordable and it does not mean they are inferior. They can be used both indoor and outdoor. The difference between the two (low and high quality) is the durability and this can be easily noticed when used outside of a building. The reason is that, the high quality paints can withstand extreme weather condition without fading off easily unlike the low quality one. In the category of the low quality paints, some are still cheaper than the other base on the type of brand. Sometimes people pay for the brand name and not the product. I mean, there are known or popular brands that their products are of the same quality with some brands that are not well known. Therefore, it is important you take professional advice whenever you want to make your buying decision. Professional painter with years of experience in the field knows the best choice for you.

The price of these paints is different. The paints’ colour, type, and quality are the major factors that determine the price a unit is sold in the market. Most times the light colours are cheaper to dark colours. The price of some brands differs also. So, you can buy paints of the same quality at different price. In this case, the prestige of a brand has come into play.

Apart from types of paints and the quality, the cost of painting charged by the house painter is another issue usually raised by people. It is important to note that there are many factors that determine amount charged by painter. JOESLIM ART CONCEPT for example charges fairly and you will always get an outstanding service. Many other painters may charge huge amount that is beyond your capacity but with us is different. However, the cost of labour for painting differs.

In a nutshell, the point I am trying to make here is that the cost of painting is not as much as it is erroneously believed. The paints’ type, quality and colour are the determinant of the total cost. So, if you want to paint your house just contact the phone line on this blog and we will give you professional advice on the kind of paints that you can afford and we will also give you the application cost that is very affordable. Therefore, anybody can paint his/her apartment or house.

WHAT YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT EMULSION PAINT

Emulsion paint is a water-based paint usually used for painting both interior and exterior part of a building. It usually comes in different colour. It can be found in different quantity, it can either be found in a four (4) litres or TWENTY (20) litres rubber container. Emulsion paint usually comes in different qualities based on the producer’s chemical composition and this often determines the market price. This type of paint is available at any paints shop. It is a popularly used decorative paint probably because it is known to be the cheapest among others.

REASONS MANY PEOPLE USE EMULSION PAINT
  • It is an ideal paint to paint interior part of a house because it doesn’t emit heat.
  • It is a decorative paint which brings out the beauty of a building in a special way.
  • It is usually cool and elegant on the wall.
WHAT YOU MUST NOT DO WITH EMULSION PAINT
  • Do not use inferior or low quality emulsion paint because it wouldn’t be long before everything will wash away on the wall especially the exterior part of the building where the paint is exposed to extreme weather condition.
  • Do not mix it with another paint you have no idea of its chemical composition, it might spoil the paint.
  • Do not apply the paint yourself if you do not know anything about house painting rather call professional house painter like Joeslim Art Concept to do justice to your building.
  • Do not open if you are not ready to use it because it will get congealed (change from liquid to a thick or solid state) if not used after sometimes.
PLACES WHERE EMULSION PAINT IS NOT IDEAL
  • It is not good for a building in a water disturbing area or a flooded environment because it is not highly resistance to water.
  • It is also not good in the bathroom where heavy water flows from time to time. This might result to it peeling off the wall.
AN IDEAL EMULSION PAINT FOR YOUR BUILDING
  • It must be high quality and well sealed.
  • It must be from a trusted and accredited paint shop.
  • It must be a trusted brand of paint.

BENEFITS OF USING A HIGH QUALITY EMULSION PAINT
  • It will stay longer (durable) on the wall and it can withstand extreme weather condition.
  • It will save the cost of repainting at a short period of time.
  • The turnout of the paint on the wall is always unique in terms of its smoothness and elegance.
  • It has higher water resistance unlike the low quality.
  • It doesn’t stain hand or cloth after some hours of application.
